Carpet Facts

Making the right decisions about flooring choices starts with having the facts. However, sometimes customer interest in carpet is tempered with questions about carpet’s relationship to asthma and allergy, indoor air quality or mold growth.

In other instances, professionals such as green builders and architects are simply not aware of the green properties of carpet. Still others may not realize the importance of using the right cleaning solutions and equipment to prolong the life and beauty of carpet.

CRI developed the following one-sheet, downloadable fact sheets for sales representatives to share with customers, dealers and other stakeholders. The third-party sourced information, coming from science and fact-based Carpet and Rug Institute information, should add validation to your branded carpet information. The more the sales force can publicize these facts about carpet and address potential issues of concern, the greater the message impact will be.
